On December 9, 2021, a remote code execution vulnerability CVE-2021-44228 affecting the Apache Log4j2 library, which is a Java-based logging framework widely used in commercial and open-source software products.
Given the usage of the library, the impact of this zero-day exploit is severed.
In terms of Superhub’s solutions we do not use the affected component in our developed products, the issue doesn’t affect Superhub’s services.
As this is a dynamic situation we will continue to monitor for new developments and provide status updates and guidance to our customers as needed.
It is also critical to update your system and application to latest version to prevent any known security exploit.
