Since its inception in 1988, D-mop has delivered lifestyle fashion for over 90 brands. It has expanded from 90 to over 160 stores in the Greater China Region last year alone, despite facing difficulties with its on-premise Microsoft Exchange 2007 system, which was causing disruption to the daily routine and efficiency of its Chinese branches. Problems encountered include unexpected server crashes, and untimely email delivery due to relatively small mailbox limits. In determining between a Hosted Exchange Server versus Microsoft Office 365 (O365), D-mop took into consideration the efficiency and efficacy of a Microsoft O365 cloud solution as a way to modernise the business and more importantly, resolve its current issues.



Superhub conducted research to understand D-mop’s current and future requirements before presenting a hybrid plan of Microsoft O365 E3 and Business Essential for different target users.  This digital workplace solution leverages Microsoft O365, empowering employees with tools including Teams for collaboration, One Drive for large file-sharing on the go, and Exchange ActiveSync for mobile access. With all these new features, D-mop is able to resolve its issues of file compatibility with business partners whilst minimising bottlenecks regarding large file transmission.
